Born in France, designed in Milan, and crafted in Nepal, CC-tapis is an Italian company specializing in contemporary hand-knotted rugs skilfully created by Tibetan artisans in Nepal. Originally founded by Nelcya Chamszadeh and Fabrizio Cantoni in France, with over 18 years of experience in Nepalese rug production, CC-tapis relocated to Milan in 2011. Today, a team of designers, led by Daniele Lora, the art director and partner, reinvigorates traditional techniques with innovative approaches.

CC-tapis embodies a deep reverence for materials and the heritage of this ancient craft, reflecting its commitment to eco-friendly practices. From hand-spinning the finest Himalayan wool to using purified rainwater for washing, each CC-tapis rug is a unique work of art.

Far from mass production, CC-tapis provides a personalised experience for those who appreciate high-end craftsmanship, with each rug taking three months to produce, carrying a story of timeless culture. CC-tapis takes pride in preserving tradition, crafting rugs without the use of machines, staying true to centuries-old methods.
