Gaetano Pesce

Gaetano Pesce, born in 1939 in La Spezia, is an Italian designer and Architect, well known for experimenting with new materials and unusual shapes.

His projects express a guiding principle: that modernism is less a style than a method for interpreting the present and hinting at the future in which individuality is preserved and celebrated.

He studied architecture at the IUAV in Venice, and attended the Venice Institute of Industrial design. He carries out research in the field of kinetic and serial art. He is in the theatre and the cinema, concerned with lighting, movement and sound as means of expression.
