A small armchair that conveys warmth and comfort through carefully curated fine craftsmanship details.

In this creation by Antonio Citterio, a tubular steel base opens up into a slender, sophisticated structure upon which the fabric-upholstered padded shell rests, as if floating on air. Leather upholstery with hand-stitched legs and armrests makes this creation a perfect example of Cassina’s attention to detail.

The backrest, folded back onto the structure, produces an additional, more casual seating element, while the exposed screws on the legs, a distinctive trait of the Esosoft family, allow for easy disassembly of the base.

CONSTRUCTION

Structure in tubular metal with arms clad in hand-stitched leather. Polyurethane foam padding with a percentage of polyols derived from biological sources, covered in recycled PET wadding, removable fabric upholstery.
