Roberto Fiorato was born in Verona on 28 June 1949. After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts G. B. Cignaroli of Verona he specialised in mosaic art in Venice. Following this, he then found his way into lighting design. Fiorato’s experience with glass and the infinite possibilities it presents meant it is a common element used in all the luminaries he creates. He is also part of the Codiceicona project, which began in 2020 with an aim to identify unforgettable objects by great design masters of the 20th century and return them to production.
