Mathilda Table
DESIGNED BY Patricia Urquiola
FOR Moroso
An everyday object, an easily recognised shape from our collective memory, that is why it feels familiar, there is something of a resemblance.
Mathilda is a modern design in the architectural sense, in the proportions between the whole and the detail. The concept is simple, perfect for its intended use: two trestles, which give solidity and affinity, hold the top and act as a support.
These products are characterised by a coloured strip, which seems to wrap all the structural elements together: the table stand to its top, the armrests
to the structure of the armchair and of the stool.
The construction of this chromatic play on colour allows diverse combinations
of texture, material and colour.
