Geometric austerity encounters enveloping padding in this sofa designed by maestro Carlo Scarpa in 1973.

Based on the contrast between the wooden structure and the soft cushions that form the backrest, seat and armrests, every detail of Cornaro is meticulously curated to highlight the original aesthetic of the model, updated in height and depth.

CONSTRUCTION

Base in beech with glossy lacquer finish or ash with open-pore matte lacquer finish. Padding is recycled PET fibre with a percentage of polyols derived from biological sources and in CIRCULARREFOAM®. Laces are black saddle leather contained inside a grommet connecting the backrest to the structure.
